During the weekend of September 18th-20th, 2026, Brush Creek Art Walk will celebrate it's 15th Anniversary. Our 3-day weekend of Outdoor Painting (en Plein Air)  gathered 50 pre-registered artists to participate in this weekend event with three Sponsored Quick Paint Events, each one offering a $500 Purchase Award.

The resulting 80+ BCAW2026 original works are NOW for sale (online only) and on display at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center (4750 Troost) through the months of October-November 2026.   Purchase and pick up works - email us your interest.

The remaining/unsold works then move to ArtsKC (106 Southwest Boulevard) in the Crossroads for the Winter of 2027 with First Friday's planned.

Getting these remaining works in front of the public and in a significant enough gallery space has been a struggle, but the works  will remain online and for sale virtually through the Buttonwood Art Space through 2027.

BCAW2026's 15th Annual Event, was without a doubt, Kansas City's Premiere Outdoor Painting Competition. Our 50+ Pre-registered Artists creating 80 exceptional original works. 

Our BCAW2026 Awards Event was on Tuesday, October 6th  and provided some amazing results.  We are posting the Awards from that evening (below).  Look to the works listed online and match the artist with their work and those 2026 works made available through mid-April 2027.
